Innovation is a core mission at hestiia. We are looking for a motivated and experienced engineer to join our team, and more precisely, to take on the role of Prototyping Workshop Manager ! In this role, you will be responsible for leading the workshop and participate in the design of products, manufacture them and test them.

We are an agile company.

This means you will be working in strong integrated partnership with other engineering functions.

Your missions will cover 3 areas:

• Manage the production of our various prototypes.
• Bring and contribute to the improvement of best practices within the workshop.
• Participate in mechanical design and development within the research department

On a daily basis, you could do:

• Analyze and participate in product design within the research department (CAD).
• Define the most suitable manufacturing methods, taking into account existing tooling (CAM). 
• Ensure and supervise the production of our prototypes (welding, machining, and wiring). 
• Manage the workshop and develop improvement and prevention plans in various areas: safety, equipment, tooling, etc.
  

About you 👀

• You want to join an exciting entrepreneurial adventure
• Mastery of CAD/CAM software (such as Autodesk Fusion 360) is essential, as well as knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks, Catia V5, or Autodesk Fusion 360).
  
• You have an excellent understanding of manufacturing processes.
• You demonstrate adaptability and agility by adjusting to the environment and finding solutions tailored to our context.
• Conscientious and organized, you are ready to establish a working framework within the workshop while remaining flexible.
• As an idea generator, you enjoy initiating new concepts and implementing best practices, especially those related to safety.
